Francouer & Lucille
Francouer & Lucille have been sold and are in a private collection
Francouer and Lucille are soft bodied portrait dolls. Their heads, forearms and below the knees were made from puppen fimo polymer clay, baked to the manufacturers specifications to ensure that they are correctly cured and were then painted with thin layers of Genisis Heat Set paints to achieve realistic skin tones. Both their bodies were made from a wire armature, and then padded with heavy poly fibres. Both dolls are gently poseable.
Their shoes and Lucilles black stockings are made from clay, as are Francouers gloves. Their clothing is made from various fabrics and Francouers hat is made from white felt.
In his standing postition Francouer measures approx 14 inches tall from his feet to the top of his hat while Lucille measures 10 inches from head to toe.
