Yay, she is finally done!
 Oddly, everytime I look at her I have an almost overwhelming desire to punch her! I think its that bratty 'what are you going to do about it?' attitude. Maybe I better get her listed for sale soon incase the urge overpowers me....

This, as long as I finish her in time, will be my entry for the International Art Doll Registry May Show - entitled 'Cultural Princess'. The theme is supposed to be based on Princesses from around the world, but I thought I would make something a little different - there seems to me to be a bit of a 'Princess Culture' going on nowadays, lots of spoilt, little and not so little madams waltzing around with their fake tan, hair extensions and little handbag dogs... so I thought I would make 'Daddy's Little Princess!'

Another piece finally finished today, everything seems to be taking me a long time at the moment as I'm still not very well - I have something called Erythema Nodosom (an autoimmune problem which hopefully will dissapear soon) which makes me very tired, makes my ankles swell up and all my joints really ache aswell as big painful lumps suddenly appearing on my arms legs. Anyway, to cheer myself up I made a naughty naked male chocolate smeared fairy! He is called 'Chocolat' (pronounced with a very bad French accent....). I had lots of fun making him and also making the chocolates too which are all made from polymer clay.  Too see work in progress pics click here.

Well, I started working on this piece back in April, and it seems to have taken forever but I have finally been able to replace the nasty temporary base that I had put him on with a lovely heavy piece of very old welsh oak which suits him much better!
